ZipGeek Terms of Use

Payment Terms:
I authorize Geek Housecalls, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "ZipGeek") to charge my credit card for this remote support session. I agree to a minimum charge of $25.00 which covers up to the first 15 minutes of remote support. I agree to pay an additional charge of $25.00 for each additional 15 minutes or portion thereof beyond the first 15 minutes.

Release of Liability:
I agree to release and hold harmless ZipGeek from any and all liability associated with the performance of service, and acknowledge also that ZipGeek offers no explicit or implied warranty on services performed. In the event of a dispute, I understand that my sole remedy shall be the refund of my purchase price for the remote support session. Further:

1. I acknowledge that due to the nature of the services being performed, there is potential risk of damage, corruption, or loss of computer software, applications and/or data.

2. I agree to release and hold harmless ZipGeek from all liability for damage or loss as well as any incidental or consequential material or financial damage or loss, including loss of use, that may result from the actions of ZipGeek.

3. I grant ZipGeek access, security rights, and permission to open, view, modify, edit, delete, or otherwise manipulate my computer software, applications, data, and data storage media including, but not limited to, the computer Operating System, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, workflow, graphics, audio, video, system drivers and libraries, and any other type of software or data that may be contained on my computer system or network.

4. I grant ZipGeek permission to download and/or install software on my computer and/or network, including but not limited to, virus and malware scanners, diagnostic and repair utilities, drivers, libraries and other software as needed.

5. I agree that I am responsible for my own data backup, archiving, and/or protective storage as well as restoration if required. Note: ZipGeek strongly recommends that as a precautionary measure, all critical data should be backed up prior to the start of a remote support session.

I understand that neither the submission of this agreement nor the performance of services by ZipGeek indicates or implies any additional obligation for future support, paid or unpaid. This document constitutes the entire agreement between myself and ZipGeek. No other agreement, verbal or otherwise shall be in effect except if agreed to in writing and signed by both parties.
